Brief Biography

I was born in Knoxville, TN.  In 2000, I started college at Emory & Henry College in Emory, VA.  I graduated magna cum laude from E&H in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science and a minor in chemistry, and soon after began my graduate studies in Biostatistics at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.  I graduated with a MS degree in Biostatistics in 2006.

I have been at MUSC since September 2006. I work with many investigators and spend most of my time doing collaborative work with design planning and analyses.

I currently live on James Island, South Carolina with my husband (Buddy), and our five cats (Lizzie, Boom, Callie, Nyssa, and Gretchen).
