Our Bär ancestors came from the region around Hausen, specifically the farms of Hinter Albis, Mittler Albis, and Ober Albis located along the mountainside above Hausen. Hausen resides at the upper end of the Reppisch River valley which flows northward through Türlersee to Birmensdorf. |
