Johannes Müller
Johannes Müller,
son of Christina Müller, was born in Ober-Seeman
on 20 July 1791 and was baptised 22 July 1791. Since he was less than 3 years
old at the time of his mother's death he possibly went to live with his godfather
and uncle, Johannes Müller (1777), from whom he learned
the trade of Blacksmith. Johannes married Katharina Haas
in Ober-Seeman on 17 April 1818. They had 8 children. Katharina was born in
Ober-Seeman on 15 January 1797 and died in Ober-Seeman on 17 January 1863. Johann
died in Ober-Seeman on 6 December 1863.
George and Katharina had the following children:
- An unnamed son was stillborn on 19 October
1819 and buried on 21 October 1819.
- An unnamed son was stillborn on 25 January
1821 and buried on 27 January 1821.
- Johann Wilhelm Müller
was born 21 February 1822. He married Maria Bach on
2 August 1845 in Ober-Seeman. They emigrated to America in the 1850s with
their children. Johann died 24 February 1866 in York County, Pennsylvania
- An unnamed son was stillborn 21 June 1824
and buried 22 June 1824.
- Anna Catharina Müller
was born 7 December 1825 and baptised 8 December 1825. She married Johann
Heinrich Wilhelm Herroeder on 9 June 1844. They had at least 3 children.
- Gertraud Müller
was born 19 January 1828 and was baptised 21 January 1828. She married Johann
Heinrich Wilhelm Bach II on 2 May 1847. They had at least 2 children.
- Anna Müller
was born 18 December 1829 and baptised 20 December 1829. She married Caspar
Wagner on 28 March 1853. Anna died 31 May 1899.
- Johannes Müller
was born 27 January 1833 and baptised 30 January 1833. He married Marie Haas
on 17 June 1860. They had at least 1 child. Johannes died in Ober-Seeman on
21 December 1906.
