The Kuhn Family history is intimately connected with the history of
the migration of Catholics during the 18th Century from Europe, to Eastern Pennsylvania,
and subsequently to central and western Pennsylvania. To learn more about this

Much of the information on the early Kuhn generations came from an unknown source
of questionable accuracy. I decided to post this information anyway, even
though there are errors and inconsistencies within it. When I find the
time to make a thorough check of the information I will post the changes.
John Kuhn I was born about 1696 in Bavaria. He married Anna Barbara Adam and they had 4 children. They came to America about 1732 and settled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania where John died 14 February 1751.
Henry Kuhn was born about 1718 in Bavaria. Henry married Anna Margaret Schmidt before 1741 in Macungie Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Henry died 22 August 1765 in Salisbury Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
John Kuhn II was was born about 1749 in Cedar Creek, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. John married Catharine Eckenroth on 18 January 1767. They had 10 children. They moved to Adams County about 1800 where John died on 11 Sep 1807.
George Kuhn was born 11 March 1780 in Greenwich Township, Berks County, PA. George married Susanna Felix about 1801 in Adams County, PA. Susanna was born about 1801. They had 8 children. George died 17 November 1825 in Adams County, PA.
Susannah Kuhn was born 4 July 1812 in Adams County, PA. She married (1) Ignatious Felty, son of Dietrich Felty. They had 3 children. After his death in 1841 she married (2) David Fink. Susannah died 19 March 1880 in Adams County, PA.
Mary Ann Felty was born 10 October 1837 in Adams County, PA. She married Edwin Daniel Geesey on 25 August 1859 in PA. She died 29 January 1898 in Woodsboro, Frederick County, MD.
