John Kuhn I
John Kuhn I was born about 1696 in Bavaria. He
died 14 Feb 1751 in the Cedar Creek Community, Macungie Township, Bucks County,
Pennsylvania. Carpenter. Catholic. He came to America with his family about
1732.

MIGRATION website: John Kuhn was born in Bavaria, married Anna Barbara,
and died in PA in 1751. He was the carpenter credited with building the Catholic
church at Goshenhoppen, Bucks County.
John married Anna Barbara Adam, daughter of Hans
Jacob Adam. Anna was born about 1698 in Bavaria and died after John in
Macungie Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
John and Anna Barbara had the following children:
- Henry Kuhn was
born about 1718 in Bavaria and died 22 Aug 1765.
- John George Kuhn was born about 1720 in Bavaria.
He died about 1761. He married Catherine Riffel on 27 Nov
1744 in his father's house. They moved to York County, now Adams County, Pennsylvania.
Catherine was born 30 Apr 1725 and died 15 Mar 1799. She was buried at Conewago
Chapel, Conewago, Adams County, PA.
- Eva Mary Kuhn was born about 1722 in Bavaria.
She died about 1756 in Macungie Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Eva
married Philip Schmidt on 26 Apr 1743 in Macungie Township. Philip was born
about 1740 and died 17 Jul 1775.
- Joseph Kuhn was born 1724/1730 in Bavaria.
He died Mar 1782 in Macungie Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
