Joannes Theobald Felix

Joannes Theobald Felix was born on 18 April 1705 in Kalhausen, Moselle, Lorraine. He was a weaver and married Maria Catherine Holder on 24 January 1736 in the Achen Catholic Church, Achen, Moselle, Lorraine. Maria was born 3 about 1714 in Lannen, Luxembourg.

They had the following children:

  1. Nicholas Felix was born on 16 March 1733 in Ettingen, Moselle, Lorraine. He came to America, arriving in Philadelphia, PA 20 October 1754. He married Catharine Lepler in 1764 In Berks Co., PA, and then he married Anna Marie Stahl on 22 August 1773 in Berks County, PA.  He died on 22 May 1813 in Reading, Berks Co., PA.
  2. Joannes Michel Felix was born on 31 January 1735 in Lambach, Moselle, Lorraine.  He was a weaver like his father.  He married Madeleine Thurner 9 November 1762 in Siersthal Catholic Church, Siersthal, Moselle, Lorraine.  He arrived in America on the ship Betsy from Rotterdam (last from Cowes) on October 26, 1768. 
  3. Marie Eve Felix was born on 29 May 1737 in Lambach, Moselle, Lorraine.  She married Jacques Lostetter 7 November 1758 in Siersthal Catholic Church, Siersthal, Moselle, Lorraine.
  4. Phillippe Felix was born on 30 August 1740 in Lambach, Moselle, Lorraine. He died on 14 Nov 1781 in Glasenberg, Moselle, Lorraine. He married Reine Mayer (b abt 1751) 10 February 1778 in Siersthal Catholic Church, Siersthal, Moselle, Lorraine.  He was buried on 15 Nov 1781 in Siersthal, Moselle, Lorraine.
  5. Stephen Felix was born on 10 March 1743 in Lambach, Moselle, Lorraine. He was baptised in Siersthal, Moselle, Lorraine.  He arrived in America on the ship Betsy from Rotterdam (last from Cowes) on October 26, 1768.  Stephen married Mary Magdalena Eckenroth daughter of Johannes Henricus Eckenroth and Susanna Steissen about 1774.   They had 8 children.  He died on 18 October 1821 in Derry Township, Dauphin County, PA. He was buried on 21 October 1821.
  6. Johannes Felix was born on 10 February 1745 in Lambach, Moselle, Lorraine. He arrived in America on the ship Betsy from Rotterdam (last from Cowes) on October 26, 1768.  He married Elisabeth about 1774 and was recorded in the 1768 census in Philadelphia, PA.  He died on 11 Jan 1815 in Berwick Township, Adams County, PA.
  7. Johannes Martin Felix was born on 23 June 1747 in Lambach, Moselle, Lorraine. He died on 23 April 1748 in Lambach, Moselle, Lorraine.
  8. Martin Felix was born on 12 September 1750 in Lambach, Moselle, Lorraine.  He arrived in America on the ship Betsy from Rotterdam (last from Cowes) on October 26, 1768.   Martin was counted in a census in 1768 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA. He married Elizabeth Haffner on 24 May 1778 in Berks County, PA, and then married Barbara 1779/80.  He died in 1828 in Reading, Berks County, PA.

Johannes Theobald died 3 on 24 April 1777 in Glasenberg, Moselle, Lorraine, and was buried on 26 April 1777.  Maria Catherine died 4 on 11 July 1784 in Glasenberg, Moselle, Lorraine. She was buried on 12 July 1784 in Siersthal, Moselle, Lorraine.
